John, the following information would be helpful as a start:

When you say a blank do you mean a blank (to be built on) or a rod?
What PE line class do you wish to use?
What jig range weight is ideal?
Price range?

I would like to build rod my self, so now looking for a good jigging blank.
At this moment looking for light jigging blank  PE Rating 1-2, 2-4.
My jig normmally is below 60 gram.

Price range for blank only ($150-300).

Thank you.
