Absolute robbery for Daiwa parts! I paid similar $ for an rcs7000 spool for a 6500h not long ago. Over $100 cheaper for Shimano spools.

On the flip side, I got an Isla 7000 spool for my Catalina 6500 from Daiwa USA for less than $90 USD delivered, less than half the cost of Shimano spools.  Same spool would fit the large Saltigas.  I wouldn't be surprised if the Isla 5000 spool fit the 5500 at the cost of some capacity.

That could work?!
I decided to just buy a 2012 Catalina 5000H for $200 more than the 5500H spare spool and use it for Kingfish and will use the 5500 for the bigger stuff.
Cheers AG
