Great video Brandon, hopefully this will inspire a few more of us to persist with surface stickbaits. Not as difficult as it first appears, the bit of slack line and the timing being the key, and also knowing what conditions / circumstances to use them in - not on a fast drift for example.

Hi Brandon,
Nice vid indeed....appreciate you sharing this.
Can I please ask you, what rod were you using in the vid...with that Gamma 140 please ?.

Leo

It’s a Blue Lagoon 80/43. Not ideal but it did the job. A Blue Lagoon 80/35 or 711/35 or 80/30 would have been ideal

Thank you very much for this video Brandon, your help is precious, that's exactly the kind of information that I seek!

Hi Brandon,
Thank you for the rod used. I've got a TBL 80/40, BLC 80/40R-PM Super Cobra & EP 85/36...these all should do the job nicely with Gamma's 120g to 160g no worries respectively.
Take care Brandon.

Leo
