Hello good evening,
At the moment i have a Infinity 80 light.
I look for a second rod for fishing with poppers between 125 and 175 gr.
I would like to fish with PE 8 or PE 10 line. I wand to use it for GT fishing.
So what would be the choice for a Ripple Fisher rod?
Best regards,
Arnout.

Looking at the maximum sized poppers you want to use, I think a 78 Flex is probably what you're looking for. The 78 Reversal is also a possibility although 175g poppers is asking a bit too much from the rod.
Richard might have some other suggestions.

Have a look at the Final Sprit GT 79H 170-220gr lure PE 12
-
Isn,t the final spirit a little bit to strong?
Best regards,
Arnout.

it's a PE10-12 rod designed for very large poppers. Based on the specs you gave, it is not what you're looking for!

Hi Arnout!
I would recommend GT78 Flex for the lure wt you are using.
Cheers

Arnout,
I saw the GT78 Flex in Southern Oman in March handle a +50kg fish with aplomb.
Very impressive.

Agree with all comments on the GT78Flex, this is a very capable PE8-10 GT popper rod, I have owned one for about 4 or 5 years and landed many fish on it including GT's in the 40-50+kg class. I have given this rod hell including horrible high-stick abuse and it goes on every trip with me, even though i have about 5 carpenter GT rods. It is light for it's power and capabilities so it sees a lot of use.

Well than i know where i have to save my money for.
Is it possible to get the gt78 flex in a color you like?
Best regards,
Arnout.

Arnout,
If you choose a colour you like, it will take about 4 to 5 mths for delivery.
Let me know when you are ready to order!
Tight lines!
