Post by: Saltywater Tackle on January 15, 2015, 02:29:43 AM
Hi Guys, as of now there are 4 pieces left of the Race Point 100 with that introductory special price of $619.95. We are giving that special price in appreciation to the fans of Race Point rods. Once we reach the limit the rods will no longer be on special and will go back to the normal selling price of $699.95 so this is your last opportunity!

Hi Sami,

How would the race point 100 match up with a stella 14000 swb?

Also what are the lure weight ratings for this rod? I understand it is a stick bait rod is it capable of also fishing poppers?

Thanks,

Lucas.

Hi Lucas,
I am running a Stella 14000 with 80lb Power Pro Hollow on mine,
I have to say that the RP 100 is a 100% stickbait rod that aimed to give the perfect performance for stickbait, I won't suggest to pop with it as it is not going to give you the chugging performance due to the softness of the tip,
the max casting lure is 120g and i would stick to that, cast a mile and have enough power.
the aim is 100lb fish and less. they are in transport and schedule to hit the shop on the 2nd of Feb 2015.

Thanks for the reply Sami,

Is there anywhere in Aus (preferably East coast) I can get my hands on them to put a bend in one?

Thanks,
