Alex, it depends on what your definition is of value. For some, it could be a $10 Gillies and for others, it could be an $80 Orion.

I think Brandon's post says it all.  Is it good value to buy & use $10 lures (which are likely to last 1 fish, if they swim/pop well enough in the first place)when you factor the cost of the equipment that you should be using, your annual leave, cost of the destination etc etc.  Think not....There's the old adage about being penny wise and pound foolish..........
