Not so cheap poppers
December 08, 2008, 07:02:14 PM
Went away to Melbourne for a few days to have a look around with the wife. A lot more shops for her than me, but stumbled upon 2 Hammerhead poppers for sale in the only CBD fishing shop...and was very excited for all of 5 secs. They cost $199 each...which given them may be a one cast wonder before I lose them to the rocks or fish didn't buy any. But those Hammerheads were sure nice :'(

Brock, yep it was. They had some other poppers as well like Kroniks and will be getting more Japanese ones later. I settled for a shore shiner minnow and some rod stick jackets.

thats way to insane for a GT popper for $199...Crazy...
Normally there $129..

You can but a brand called Kronik which is a fisherman copy and are made in thailand, perfect for GT popping but they also do a hammerhead copy and 200g...There normally $75...

True - but none come close to being as good as the originals  ;)
