Title: Big new donkey on Extreme
Post by: Mark Armistead on August 31, 2011, 01:41:15 PM
Hi all
Just going through the process of repowering our vessel.
A big brand new Yamaha 200 HP (latest and greatest model) is being fitted right now.

This is greta news for those guys coming out in the very near future, not only will we get there faster but will also have far less chance of breakdowns.
Heres some pictures of the process.
Next week Ettine Piquel arrives from New Caledonia, top angler, top guide and top bloke. weather at this stage looks good and the fish have been biting well. Expect to see soem good pics and trip report soon.

Can't beat a Yamaha 4 stroke, most popular outboard in the world.
You will love it Mark

" far less chance of breakdowns".
I,m not even gonn a ask what overly hyped, substantially marketed high pressure direct injection 2 stroke kept letting you down in the past
 Mark..... :'(
They are referred to up here as handgrenades, and with 122 islands and bugger all roads, the locals would know!!
