Scott, I don't use the but I have seen quite a lot of people who have. I haven't see one of the big GT sized ones fail yet.
If it swims; I want to catch it!

Ben, Scott, I was fortunate enough to have joined Nomad on a trip with Patric Sebile. Not only did we use Sebile poppers and stick baits allmost exclusively for our 2 week trip, but we caught a pile of GT's on them along with Wahoo, yellowfin, and several other species and didn't see one break, including a Sebile Splasher 190(smaller than the normal 240) that took a 55kg GT for Larry Dahlberg. Be sure it is the "Salt and Sun" range you buy for GT's, they are specifically built for heavey duty. Splashers, Stick Shads, Magic Minnows were the first choice most of the time. Bonga minnows, Long Coolie Minnows did their share of the work too, and the Bonga Jerk is just the craziest thing, but catches a lot of fish on high speed troll. We had a couple of doubles on a single bonga jerk trolled at 20 knots-yes, that is 20 knots!! And we just laughed till we cried at the amazing screaming reels and bent double rods as fish hit that a lure doing 20 knots. They proved themselves beyond doubt to me and I now have a box full of the "Salt and Sun" range that will supply me where ever I go!
