Hi,


I just signed up to this board and would like to say thanks for the great info.

I have just booked a week in tonga over Easter I am staying at this place:

They run gt popping trips has anyone heard of them?

Unfortunately they don't supply gear so I need to get some in a hurry. I currently have a certate 4000 on a rapala braid concept bc662 smh and although i have caught an 18kg gt on this in the coral sea  I figure I will need something heavier

So ia mlooking around for a second hand Stella or saltiga with a matching rod (7-7.5 feet ) that will handle 100lb braid.
Budget is tight as i am traveling alone so will be picking up all charter costs alone. I figure worst case I just take the certate and get to fish more but get smoked alot.

Any suggestions gratefully received
