Title: Major craft aleaxander
Post by: Derek Mock on July 14, 2012, 09:40:16 PM
Hi all,

A friend I fish with bought one and is very happy with it. Unfortunately I didn't take the opportunity to have a jig with it. Any body have any reviews on it? I jig for kings in the 4-9kg to 100 metres and use 200-280g jigs.

Thanks in advance for your replies
Derek

Had one snap inbetween the 2nd and 3rd runner on its second fish. Drag was set at about 7-8kg. Rated as a pe3-6 it should have taken that drag I didn't high stick it.
I contacted major craft direct to see if they would do anything about it and was told that major craft stand by their products except yours good luck.
It does have some nice guides on it which will be put on a jigging master blank.
They are mass produced in vietnam
I personally would not go near their gear again.
