Title: Lure color
Post by: Jin Kim on October 04, 2014, 01:07:24 AM
Hey guys,

What is the best lure color for YFT and BFT?
I often use bright lures on bright days and dark lures on dark days.

Can't speak to Yellowfin yet, but Blackfin will go for anything when they are on top busting.  Other than that I tend towards natural colors but sometimes super bright patterns will be the ticket.  Experimentation.... ;)

Hi Jin,

Your best shot is to match the hatch, if you can find out the source of bait they're feeding on you're in business.

I agree with Sami
But if you don't know what the fish are feeding on Slimy Mackrel or Green and Silver colour lures
It is always best to try and identify what the fish are feeding on. :D
