Title: sevenseas big pop 78 powerful
Post by: Alex Wong on December 03, 2014, 04:46:50 PM
Hi guys,

Does anyone have any idea if the sevenseas big pop 78 rod TIP is as stiff as a patriot design black diamond 77 or mafia?

Looking for a chugger rod that chugs 150g to 180g poppers.

Hi Alex,
It will definitely work lures in that range.

Hi Alex,

Very good rod all around, used it in the past with great success for GT and Bluefin tuna

Actually is this build for tuna or GT?

How does this rod compare to patriot design black diamond 77?
Since both are design by Matsutani.

is it a popping or stick bait rod?

Hi Arnout,
It is a popping rod but it doesn't mean it won't perform well for Stickbait.
