Hi all,

Would like to know whether Samson can be targeted by topwater method?

Cheers

It has been done and is something I need to spend some time working out. In WA?
You need to target them before summer when they are on the inshore reefs I would say.

Hey Kenny,

We have had some luck in the past on medium/small sized stick baits with sambos. Usually berley up first to get them around. Sinking stick baits Round the 120mm mark have worked for us in the past.

I have seen a video once of topwater Samsons - I think it was from southern WA, I will try to find it.
