Title: Custom Seed finished!
Post by: Andrew Colefax on June 02, 2009, 08:00:09 PM
in between other jobs i finally finished my Seed popping rod. As you can see in the pic of decal its rated PE8-10. the casting weight of 120-150g seems a little conservative. Very happy with the end result, it seems quite light in weight i'll weigh it when i find some small scales

Sorry about the crappy pics, hard to photograph rods at the best of times, let alone at night on the car bonnet!

for those interested guides were underbound, then double overbound with a thin coat of epoxy applied between each wrap, finished off with a further 4 thin coats, very time consuming!
