Title: FUJI MNSG guides
Post by: Alex Wong on October 13, 2014, 04:48:01 PM
Hi I am new to the forum and also new to popping. Recently I had purchased a custom popping rod with MNSG guides.
I compared it with carpenter rods and found the guides are fitted opposite (flipped 180 degrees). Is there any difference as to how they are placed?

Please advise.
Thank you.

Do you have photos of it?

The Carpenters have the single leg pointing down towards the reel to help with line slap through the first (and sometimes) second guides - nothing to worry about or change if you have them either way round :)
