Rohit, from what I understand (I don't own one), it has the same capacity as the previous 10000FA. It is a smaller and lighter reel but has the same spool capacity. If I remember correctly, the 10000FA is good for something like 170-200m

Cheers Brandon

Does anyone know if the new 18k is the same reel as the new 10k but with a bigger spool or is it same body as the new 20k

I like the idea of the new 10k weight and size but would love it if the 18k is the same size body with more capacity........Mrs has promised me a stella for birthday

As far as I am aware the new 10k is comparable in size to the current 6000/8000FA (except with a greater spool capacity). The new 18k is the same body as the new 20k which is comparable to the current 10000/20000FA.

Sorry Rohit. The 10000 and 18000 are not comparable in size.
