Very underrated range of rods in fished with quite a few and loved them all I'd probably own one if I had any space left in my tube.

Hi Ludo,
Mate I recently added a FCL Labo UCB 8ft to the arsenal and love it.
Casts brilliantly and is super light compared to a lot of other high end casting rods.
I matched mine with a Stella 14000 SWB for my wife to use but whenever she put it down I picked it straight up as it was brilliant and a good rest from the usual Stella 18000 on Ripple Fishers etc.
Fished poppers and stick baits to 120 grams with it and was very happy with performance.
A couple of pics putting the rod through its paces on a 30 kg YFT and wahoo.
Cheers.

At first I was a bit concerned about the mid join of this rod but am more than happy with its performance.
Cheers.
