Post by: Rocky Chandra Rustam on December 25, 2015, 02:19:07 AM
Already read brandon's guide but still need advise from these rods user. Im looking for pe 6-8 popping rod. Which im gonna use with 100-140gram popper and 100-150swimbait. Gonna pair it with 5500exp. I need advise to choose between carpenter cv79/40 or the new rf gt80 reversal nano. Both are all-rounder rod. Thx a lot guys.  :)

The cv would be able to operate the weights u needed. Do look at the cup size as well when u choose poppers. I don't think cv7940 is efficient beyond Dcup. I have heard the reversal tip is softer to many liking as a chug rod. I am unsure of this, someone can help chip in.
Cheers
