Brandon you are correct it was a trident. It is also known as:: a fish spear having three prongs.

On the rod it says 4-8.

Must be a typo then. Even PE4-8 is a very wide range.

Hey everyone,

Sorry for the confusion.  The line range is in fact 4-8.  I made a mistake when typing.  We are working on another project rod that handles lines in the 8-12 range, but that's a ways off.
