Title: Stockist for Craft bait GT3s
Post by: Dan Konig on February 27, 2012, 01:52:52 PM
Does anybody know of a stockist for Craft Bait GT3s that has a decent choice of colours at the moment?

I've got them from Saltywater and JDM in the past, but neither of them seem to have the colours I'm chasing at present.

What colours are you looking for? Some of them like the ballastoides conspicillum are no longer being made from what I understand

We have more on the way soon, and yes, many previous colours are no longer available.

Not after anything too rare (I dont think), just after a Yellowtail Fusilier and a Purple Fusilier.

Damn... I love that Craftbait colour... almost as much as I love the name.

Yep, ballastoides conspicillum is the Clown Triggerfish which will be familiar to many Scuba divers:

I think that colour along with the brilliant Peacock Bass, are my two favourite Craftbait colours.  I can see why they would stop ballastoides conspicillum  though, as it has that quite complex texture work on it.  Must add a fair bit of cost.

My god! I never knew a fish actually existed with those colours! I thought it was just made up  ;D

I have a battle scarred GT2 in ballastoides conspicillum that I think I'll have to retire now that I know they're not making that colour any more!

They are a hugely popular aquarium fish but are very aggressive in the tank against other fish
