For those of you who may have been interested in the heaviest Patriot Design popping rod but were unsure because of the small diameter low rider guide, I see they now have a model with ICMNSG guides (heavy duty super ocean guides). These are the same as what you see on most other popping rods which are the MNSGs except these are the premium ion coated guides.
So if you're man enough for a fire Vortex, go for it!! ;D

Hi Brandon,
All of the Patriot Designs popping rods are now availble with either the newer Low Rider LCSG guides or in the more conventional MNSG configuration. We currently have stocks of most of the Patriot popping rods with LCSG guides but we will be happy to bring in rods with MNSG guides as well.
Cheers

Cmon Jay, the Komodo is obviously to light for you so i think it is time to up grade to something a little heavier. And you do need something to tackle NC with. Atleast think about it mate

Marc - you will get a number of views being expressed about these guides - from both sides of the fence. I can only suggest that perhaps you find some of the members who have actually owned the rods for their opinion. I suggest you do a search and then perhaps PM these individuals.
