Title: Crazy day
Post by: Mark Armistead on October 02, 2010, 07:25:03 PM
Had a couple of hard core kiwi top water anglers out today.
Things started off pretty slow and by 2pm we had worked hard for just a few small kingfish.
Late in the day things fired up big time with big kingies busting up all around us, it was absolutely chaos for the next few hours and hardly a minute went by without someone hooking up and for a fiar amount of the time both guys were on at once.
I dont know how many we caught but it would have been over 30 with an average of 15 kg.
A few big fish were broken off as well.
A wide array of lures did the damage, falcons, killers, hammerheads and carpenters all catching fish.
