Title: maria jig rods
Post by: Sam Beeby on March 26, 2011, 06:52:59 PM
I'm interested in the Maria Steady Jigging JGS593 PE2-3 60-150g light jig rod. Anyone used one or know a bit more about where they fit in against smith's, zenaq's, JM's etc?
thanks

Sam

I have fished the Maria Jig Rod overhead JGB 577 for the last 2 years and am really happy with it. I generally use it for most of my jigging and only pick up my heavier outfit if I have to use jigs larger than 250g. It has landed numerous Kingies up to 17kg and several other species. I do look after it using low rod angles to maximise the pressure I put on the fish and it is yet to let me down.

Regards
Rod
