Title: Southern Oman still producing the goods!

Hi All

Here are a few pics of the fish coming out in Southern Oman. I was not down there so have no story to tell and Nick is a very tough act to follow when writing a story.
What i can say is Hammerhead Poppers and Cubera Poppers still the lures of choice for Big GT's.

Jon the title of this thread is an understatemnt.

Beautifull GT's and AJ's.

Omani GT's appear to skip childhood and move directly into monsterhood.

Southern Oman is really amazing and it will be a great fishing spot and will be for years to come because of the windy season and does not get touched for 5 months of the year. We are really spoilt this side of the world. Having Musandam (Northen oman) and Hallaiyat Island (Southern Oman) to choose from.

Hi Jon, fully agree and hope to see that playground live long. I'm still replaying in my mind the strikes from last month and will be back next year regardless of what the boss or wife thinks.

Hey Sami
Just a heads up the Big Ambers have finally started popping up. The one guy caught one over 35kg's on PE3 and a Medium Blue Rose using a 2oz Squid Jig.  And all eight anglers have hooked into a GT over 135cm. So the guys are all very happy. Nick will be back on the 5 Nov and will do a long write up.
