Yes still worth trying.  Not sure of the May moon dates but try to make it just after new moon or just after full moon.

Hi guys thanks for the reply.
So mark,  I had a look at the moon phase for Bali.
Full moon falls on 15th May at 3:16am. Would that be a good day to fish??
From your experience with Bali water, what day would you recommends? If 3:15am full moon would 9-10am be a good tide to fish on the 15th?
Sorry for so many questions, if can help me answer some of the questions would be appreciated.
After all from your report you are the man to talk. Thank you in advance.

Looking at the tide charts, I would chose to fish on May 16, 17 or 18 which have the peak tides and at good times around mid-day. That would allow you to fish the run up in the morning and the run down after lunch.

Cheers for that Mark.
I will certainly enquire charter boat regard cost and time. Is Ahdek the best guy to go with?
Will probably look at 17th and 18th if you keen to joint us.
There will only be my father in law and i. He won't be doing much fishing so will only be mostly me popping.  I ve done most of my popping in New Caledonia only so Will be great to have a local pro like you joining us And any pointers will be awesome!
Is mainly a family trip so will try to minimise gear.
With rods will you recommend the need for stumb puller and/or need for distance casting.

Popping:- Moster CC72Gt (stick bait) and Hots 75xxxH (poppers)
(Will you recommend heavier popping rods)
Jigging rods:- PE3-4 and PE6 (worth jigging at all?)

If any members  is interested in those dates, please let me know.
Always more exciting with more people.
I will be staying at nusa dua.

Regard
Ricky
