I beleive they would be Chris, particularly off the west coast of DHI. After all, the WA record for GT's comes from Shark Bay.

Been keen to explore this area for a while now...

Some of the guys on kayaks have caught small GTs recently at Exmouth. So now it is just a matter of seeking out the bigguns.

I am off to Exmouth in a couple of days. The plan is to troll/cast on the big dropoffs on the big blue side of Ningaloo. I will keep you posted, although, I will be fishing from my kayak which could easily end in tears. We shall see.

Keep an eye out for sharks wayne, lots of big tigers and HHeads there, great whites probably follow the whales too :o

Plenty of good Geets up to about 30kg, probably some better ones too if you put the time in,

Go see Jono Shales about a days charter, he specialises in fly but he will know where the fish are ;)

I am unhappy to report this trip has been abandoned.

Due to Strong Winds and Gale Force Winds making my tent untennable and more importantly making offshore fishing untennable also with similar conditions forecast for at least another week I have reluctantly returned to Fremantle.

It is time to re-group and then try again in due course.
