I had a RS82 Big Game for some time but that was years ago. Its a pretty strong rod with a slower action, not unlike a Carpenter Wild Violence. It’s not quite as strong as a WV but similar in action. The rod does have a long butt on it so just be aware of that. It will work a popper up to around 160-180g ok but will start to over-saturate after that. Will cast big stickbait to 200g
