Title: Popping NZ
Post by: Greg Burt on December 21, 2008, 01:57:37 PM
Popping may get some interest after Mogi scored a 45kg [100lb] Kingie at the Volkners [White Is] on a Stickbait, the 'Enchanter' charter he was on called in to White Is for a Jig after having a Ranfurly Banks trip shortened because of bad weather. The same bad weather has held us up on a trip to the same area for three days  :( but tomorrow looks good, fingers crossed 8).
More on Mogi's YTK when they come to hand, a video is available for Face Book 'friends' Brandon, Paul etc :D

Well I'm pumped up... i'm on a trip on the same boat, same area in 3 weeks time. Taking 2 popper rods, 5 jigging rods, and lots of toys...
Enchanter (boat that Mogi was on) also got a massive 71kg Bass 2 weeks before...
