Such is life! Hopefully, the fishing gods will owe me one for Bugatti

We made this call this morning before we caught the flight to Hamilton Island so still in Sydney

I am sorry to hear this , especially for a couple of guys who have come so far to join this trip .

In S.E.Asia we generally observe " no fishing " till after the first full moon of the Lunar New Year because usually the weather is bad for fishing .

Having seen the weather forecast for the next week up that way I can see why the decision was made, it doesn't look very fishable and it seems to be the whole week like that instead of just an isolated day or two

At least you have Bugatti to look forward to in the not too distant future, I feel even worse for anyone who had planned this as their major trip for the year :( :( :(
