I was wondering whether anyone fishes PE6 locally (around Australia) for GTs?
-
I will if the wind stops blowing, %*$ >:(
-
I've caught heaps of trevors up to over 20kg on my 8000 with PE6. Good match for Cairns fish, though I mainly use PE8 now.
-
Brandon, I tried to do so, on my last trip to the Whitsunday area, but got wiped out too many times to bother persisting with such an absurd idea any more. ::) ;)
-
thanks guys
that's what I was afraid of, Angus!
-
Brandon, to be fair, some of the blame in my instances of lost fish, was undoubtedly attributable (is that a word?!) to the inadequate drag system of the reel I was using :-\

This is a vid I made up a while back. PE6 on Cairns GT's.
