Post by: Winga on March 08, 2009, 04:04:11 PM: Hi Guys, just thought I'd share these pics from our day out on the reef with Rob Laspina. Only pups to you guys but we didn't get to fish very long before cyclone Hamish pushed us in and kept us at home. We got about 10 this size and did see one monster come up behind a lure but no go. Still got a good TV show for the mortals like myself here in Melbourne.

No other fish, all we did is pop til we dropped. Never knew what that saying meant until i experienced how enduring it is first hand.

I hope it blows next time, the wind and sea seems to sort the viccos from the q'landers. ;) Ive been out today in our Big Ram in some mess and she loves 45mph in 1.5mts all day. With that said, Rob's Contender is a gun vessel, a machine even, if it does like to dance a bit.

Yes mate it was a great time and we will all get out again one day soon. Thanks for the trip to both you and and Rob.

Brock, At the moment, Kuala Rompin looks promising but will be booking in Lat 09, I may even look for another location as yet not sure.....if New Cal shapes up we might go back....only 4 weeks to go and 60 poppers to loose..........

Would like to see the pictures of the fish feeding in NC.

Brandon have you done that with 60 poppers?
