Hi Guys
i am in Mission Beach North Queensland and my fishing buddy/brother has moved interstate. ::)
If any of you are keen to pop the reefs off Mission beach, drop me a line - particularly if you are experienced in the popping game as i could do with someone to leach experience off. Maybe some Townsville or Cairns crew would be interested in fishing some different grounds?
i have a 21ft caribbean reefrunner, 2yr old 4 stroke with a 220lt fuel tank and take safety and reliability seriously. I am not that experienced in popping as we have not fished with any pros, but I have the GT bug after 2 years of lost lures and bust offs.... otherwise i do a bit of general sport and game fishing when the the poppers are not getting demolished.
So.... if you might be keen please send me a PM or email;
reefrunner220 at yahoo dot com dot au (trying to keep it spam free)
would be good to hear from someone
Cheers

Good to hear from you all - sorry about being slow to respond - its been a busy week.
suppose we now wait for the weather to get better so we can head out.
i managed to have a go last Saturday and lost 3 of small to medium size. they weren't particularly enthusiastic about hitting lures. otherwise i found some good areas with the current flowing hard and some bait around.
i might send you guys a PM when it looks like a good day is coming up and i can get out.
cheers
Max
