Did a search but there's nothing from recently - do people still rate the Fisherman Spinozas as a single for putting on poppers? Do they have any advantages over the SJ51's or should I just stick with the tried and tested?
-
Travis - the main advantage of the Spinoza 13/0 is its size and gape. It's a much bigger hook that the biggest SJ-51 which is a 11/0. It's a very, very similar hook to the SJ-41 and it is made by Owner for Fisherman.
It is really only useable as a single as the eye is to small for bakers - unless you don't use a split ring.
-
yeah they are made by owner for fisherman, why spend the extra few dollers for spinoza hooks when you can buy SJ41!
-
because the SJ-41 only comes in an 11/0 at the moment whereas the Fisherman comes in sizes up to 13/0. The bigger SJ-41s should be available hopefully later this year.
