Al Bevan is regarded as the man. You can contact him on 0412131958 or [email protected]. Tht said, there are many other options. You could look at:

Blue Juice Charters - www.bluejuicecharters.com.au (http://www.bluejuicecharters.com.au)
Mills Charters - www.millscharters.com.au (http://www.millscharters.com.au)
Saltwater Charters WA - www.saltwatercharterswa.com.au (http://www.saltwatercharterswa.com.au)

There are also others but I haven't been out with them.

James,
I live(d) in Perth and have been jigging Samsons for close to 6 years now. The best of that list, in order, are Al Bevan of Shikari and Craig of Saltwater charters. I suggest you really try and get a booking with those two skippers before you try the other two - I would not go out with Mills or BlueJuice.

You can stay at Harbour Quest (http://www.harbourvillage.property.questwa.com.au (http://www.harbourvillage.property.questwa.com.au)) in Fremantle if you go out with Allan you can arrange to be picked you up on the boat just across the road from your accomodation. This is good when you are lugging a ton of jigs and gear!

With Saltwater Charters I'm sure you can make a similar arrangement but they usually depart from Hilaries marina. However, if you can't find a convenient place to stay there, I think Craig does Fremantle launches too.

Good luck

Kasey is the local expert there and I agree - It's Al and then Craig but Al really is the man

I won't be doing it in November, James as I have another trip on and I doubt Kasey will be around then either.

Thanks Brandon but how do i get in contact with Al? Is he still in business? He doesnt return calls or answer emails ??? Is he that much better than Saltwater? If so i will give him a bit more time to get back to me.

Al is reduced his charter time due to family commitments required. Keep trying as he still does some chartering but otherwise go with Saltwater charters a go.
