Well we finally had a small window in the continuous easterlies that have been blowing for the past 2 months and managed to get out for a quick pop. At first it didn't look very good with very little action in areas that usually produce. What little fish we did raise seemed very shy. We all changed to stick baits and towards the end of the day Brad managed a nice little fish in the 12-15kg bracket. We persisted for a while longer with not much luck so we decided to head home. On the way back we decided to have a cast at a spot that usually produces a few small brassy trevally and on the first cast Brad hooked a nice GT around 20kg. We had few more casts around the area and raised a couple more fish but didn't manage any more hookups.
