Hello,
Has anyone used the Van Staals for popping just curious to find out how they go.
Thanks

I thought most of the VS and Zeebaas reels were low speed. I do like the look of them, particularly the Zeebaas, but seems mostly used for surfcasting as they can handle a dunking. Have read of some guys using them for tuna fishing, but not so much poppering.

You talking about the reels or the rods?? They do 2 rods for GT popping. Both are 8ft and quite parabolic, one is 2pc and the other 1pc. Not really a whopper stopper rod but will handle PE8
