Title: Onslow GT's
Post by: Jay Burgess on May 28, 2007, 05:51:38 PM
A fellow pilbara angler on another forum posted these pics recently, along with the following statement;

there were a lot lot bigger ones down there...

Thought it was worth a post, especially since it's not that far from where I live.

For those who don't know, Onslow is about 3 hours south of Karratha, north west WA, or about half way between Karratha and Exmouth.

Have a crack at guessing what they weigh, would be good to hear a fairly accurate estimate from someone who has caught alot of GT's.

I don't claim to be an expert at estimation (i've made some great mistakes in the past) but i would call the first around 35/40lb and the second around 45/50lb.

Some great G's there that's for sure 8)
