FCL LABO HANDMADE CSP CASTING LURE
160grams 260mm
Picked up a few of these recently, anyone used them?
I had a fair bit of luck with the FCL Ebipop and Squidpen, but these look great as well.
Have to wait till next year till I use them, but no harm in building the stocks back up! ;D
Cheers

Im testing mine out this weekend (swell permitting) on the local kingie population to see how it works. Rigged with treble on the belly and single on the rear at the moment.

if you can read Japanese, it apparently states these are a chopping pencil/stickbait. It must be a chopping pencil as I had a prototype that I struggled to get to swim in any decent fashion. It swims the way you expect a chopping pencil to

Used mine today locally off one of the deepwater ledges. I changed the hook set up to trebles off the belly and the rear. Casts nice, and when retrieving the body stays upright ie it doesnt flop onto its side . Makes small splashes and can be worked ok. Need to play around with it a bit more to see what retrieve works best. The water was reasonably calm today , not sure how it would go if there was a lot of chop around or rolling swell. Gannets like them :P , no fish action today.

No, I didn't fish it for very long - the conditions were completely unsuitable for it.
It was a prototype so Tak now has it back!
