Title: Reel covers - large spinning reels - what's out there?
Post by: Scott Williams on August 11, 2009, 07:50:48 PM
OK, so it isn't GT Popping specifically, but I am interested to hear what type of reel covers people are using to protect large spinning reels when on the rod and not in use.
I have just bought a Saragosa 18000 and also bought the Large sized shimano cover (it's more like a pouch), as far as I am aware it is the largest Shimano make, it is rated for reels sized 8000 and up, but it is a little bit of an "awkward" fit on the 18000.

Just wondering what everyone else is using?

i use the pouch that comes with the saltiga reels, and for the stellas a pouch from daiwa made for spin reels for their 4500 sized reels, fits the 10k nicely.
