Title: Hooks for GT mania.
Post by: Darren Cook on August 12, 2009, 08:15:42 AM
My Heru Gt mania's seem to sink with 2x 4/0 st76's.

What do hooks do you run on the Gt mania's?

Thanks for your help, Darren.

that shouldn't happen! The GT Mania should stay afloat quite comfortably with that hardware. Try changing the rear hook to a single and should float with that. The times I've used them, I've had 2 x ST-66 5/0 or 1 x ST-76 5/0 and a single off the tail.

I tried it with a 11/0 baker front and 9/0 jobu rear (big hooks I know), sunk like a stone.
Thanks Brandon.
