Title: Hong Kong tackle shops

A friend is heading over to china in a few weeks and has a Hong Kong stop over. wondering if there are any tackle shops in Hong Kong worth a look.

Jason, make sure you tell your friend not to expect a warehouse sized tackle store. Seven Islands is a pretty small store, not much more than a room, really. On my last visit their Carpenter lures amounted to one Sea Snake. Not really where on earth that came from considering that lure has been out of production for ages.

Hi Jason, you can try the below tackle shops when in HK.

1) Po Kee - 1st Floor, 6 Hillier Street, Sheung Wan (nothing to shout about but it's a decent tackle store. apparently, it is the oldest one in HK)

2) Hong Kong Fishing Tackle Co - 1/F Fullagar Industrial Building, 234 Aberdeen Main Rd, Aberdeen

3) Triton Fishing Equipment - 4 outlets they have (If I am right, Triton's the only one carrying a pretty wide spread of major and up-market brands)

I'm pretty sure those are not the only ones available in HK (just that I visited them when I was last there).

Triton is big but very little of interest to GT anglers!

brandon, unfortunately, i would have to agree with you.. GT-specific tackle, there isn't really much in Triton  :-\
