Title: Failed Tuna Popping Session
Post by: Luke Wyrsta on September 15, 2009, 11:57:14 AM
Went hunting for some SBFT surface action off Kiama a month back but was slightly north of some supposed insane 40 - 60kg frothing action - can't win them all.

Took this home as a consolation - taken on bibbed minnow rigged with 8/0 Decoy JS-1 .

Is that a smile or are you in pain Luke  :D still looks like it would have been fun  ;D.
You're still doing better than me, I had to use bait  :( for some Pearlies last week as nothing is jumping on the jigs.

what a barrel of a SBT and truly a great catch Luke. :o :o

another superb catch of yours.

I am not so sure but my honest guess would be between 50-65kg's,  possibly 65kg plus.
