Title: A few underwater pics from Cairns
Post by: Stephen Polzin on September 24, 2009, 04:08:22 PM
Went for a run yesterday with the missus, mainly snorkling.  Got a few fish, nothing remarkable, but spent a little time getting some underwater shots.

Here's a few pics,

cheers,

steve

super shots Steve, thanks for sharing. Those red bass certainly look mean from a head-on perspective.....which I suppose  is the last thing most coral baitfish see too.  ;)

Thanks guys, yeah Andre, I suppose it's easy to get spoilt on the GBR.

Nice shots! Btw, what brand of stickbaits were you using?

Richard I was using Carpenter stickbaits, though some of them are starting to look a bit second-hand

G'day Brock, off to NC in January... I take it you're heading to Cooktown very soon?? Good luck.

You got any plans next year? I got no commitments after NC... keen to organise something?

Righto you blokes, get a room  :D

Jay I haven't fished much for trevs lately, been mainly trout and spaniards when the wind has dropped.  I'll get back into it soon and muck around with some home-made ones again.  Here's one I made recently that should have some scratches in the next month or so.
