another popper rod -waiting on Neil for some more details on the new range he is getting in
some runbohs, willow blades, gimble belt and probably some more other bits and pieces . So some ordering to be done soon...just as well any purchases get sent to my work so I can sneak them home ;D

Definitely a new gimble as i broke mine last week ,stood on the clip and shattered it could not think of a better excuse to get a new flash one.Was looking at the Jigging Master ones but they are not cheap, does any one have any suggestions?

Try before you buy! type of gimble that is. :-\

I'm drooling over the GT Max gimble belt aka Tuna Max in some websites. That'll help stop the hassle of me removing the centre pin whenever i use rods without gimble butt. I think i'll save up and get one soon ;D

Yep, thats what Im planning on. It will beat the alvey cup I use now or the other el cheapo belt with the centre pin. When you load up on those the whole thing digs in...

I do think the GT Max is the best out there now that i have used it - but if you are after an option that is half the cost you may also want to consider the Braid Sailfish belt.
The bling meter is high on that GT Max ;D

that's what I use and Luke is right - the bling factor is pretty high on these. The only thing is they mark terribly after some use so it is best to get the silver one where it doesn't show so much.

Does the braid belt allow for rods with and without gimbles?

Unfortunately, you have to manually take out the screw - but yes it does. More hassle but still functional.

Who stocks the GT Max gimble.

Jones' Tackle carries these. Give Neil a buzz
