hi all, just wanted to gather some peoples thoughts and experiences. I'm going to fiji for a 5 day jigging and popping trip and was thinking of getting a jigging master 350gm. having never jigged for doggies i have no idea if this rod will cut it. i have a blue heaven l-120 to use with it. i will be bringing jigs in the 250-350 gm range. any advice will be appreciated.
cheers dave

I just got a JM 400 for the same purpose David, though from what I have read the 350 would probably do the job on any fish you have a chance of landing anyway :)

The JM 350 will defintely handle the job David.
The rod will comfortably handle jigs to 400 and even 450 or 500 grams if you need to use them for the deeper high current areas as well...
The parabolic action and power will go a long way in helping you get thoe beasts turned off the bottom and heading to the surface where you want them.
Good luck and have a great trip!
