Hey guys,
I have 2 popper rods that need some minor repairs. One needs a new tip as the ring in the top guide fell out and cracked in half. The other has a tiny chip in the third guide from the top.
Just wondering if anyone can recommend a rod repairer in Sydney as I have never had to get any repaired before. I also need them back within about 4 weeks which seems like heaps of time given the nature of the repairs, but I have heard horror stories of basic rod repairs taking a long time because the repairer just never gets around to it...
Cheers

Wahyu at Global Tackle in Kingsford does a very good job

Thanks Brandon, I know of Wahyu but didn't know he did repairs. Will head over there next weekend and hopefully not come home with too much gear, though I really could use a new bream combo....hmmmmm

What about Rohit?

Just make sure you check with him as to whether he can get it done in the timeframe you need it.
He isn't fast because he has a shop to run as well but he does an excellent job. He replaced the stripper guide on my Komodo Dragon and I couldn't tell it wasn't original. Unfortunately...... well, don't ask what happened on the first trip after the rod was repaired... :'(

So what happened on the first trip after the rod was repaired? :D

I don't think it'd take a lot to guess!! :D

Rohits work is good. Give him a call as well and see if he can get it done. He builds up some pretty sweet rods.
