Im sure Fishhead will something for ya. At the moment, there's the Yumeya Carbon knob, Fisherman's and Jigging Master power round knob.

I've got fisherman knobs on my 18k's and they're great although I must say the JM knob that's on my 8k looks pretty damn sexy. The fisherman knobs are great because they're a direct swap for the original knob but the JM's require you to get the right parts so that they fit correctly.

My JM knob was a straight swap on my 18SW no extra parts required  ???

yeh only on the larger reels you need a spacer and also for all the Daiwa reels required a screw on extension as the shaft is not long enough for the knob but all these parts come with the JM knobs anyway.

The extra parts are supplied by JM but it's a little bit more stuffing around than the fisherman knob.

Thanks Greg,

The site says special shaft and bearing required for 08SW's, from the above I'm assuming all the required bits are included in the 75$ and installation is fairly simple ??

Andy

nah.. they are not.
OEM product (but not China made).
Very sweet and matching colors and definitly practical.
Cap is secured with 4 screws so nothing drops out.
