had good weather ,so we  put the popper rods away,whet jigging the reef and wrecks,had a mixed hall,of  trout,sweet lip.small gts and 2 bule tevs,heaps of tealeaf trevs.10 leagal trout for the day biggest was 7kg.lost a few big fish,and lost heaps of jigs,thats fishing.

Nice work Peter - that first trout is a cracker. 

The little fella in that second photo looks rigged to send back down for an upgrade  ;D

Hey Peter I have just moved to townsville from cairns and was looking around for some places to start popping and jigging. Was wondering if you could help by pointing me in the right direction of some places worth trying?
