What I would really like to see is a review of just the heavier lines/leaders and knots most commonly used in GT popping. eg, 80lb and up with knots like bimini, FG, PR, GT etc.
With someone who can actually tie knots. The link has some good info in it but mainly the lighter class, and he cant tie a FG knot by the sounds ??? He also said that Tuffline xp was no good to cast? I think its fine but I also havent used a premium casting line for comparison.

I use TF XP in the lighter line classes a lot as it is such good value and I've never had problems casting with it.

Gday Brandon, have you used Jerry Brown in the lighter line classes say 10-50lb? If so how do you rate it compared to Tufline?
I have tried Sunline castaway in 20-50lb and found the knot strength terrible.

I like JB but have little experience in the lighter poundages. I got too much TF XP to get through!

I have used alot of 40lb JB.....It is excellent also.
Casts well and landed me some very nice landbased longtails and Mackeral.
